Health Visitors are registered general nurses who work both in the surgery and in the community. They work with parents and give advice on baby and child health issues. They run well baby and immunisation clinics. In the community, Health Visitors work with groups and individuals covering many health topics for all age groups.

Community midwives provide care and advice during pregnancy and after childbirth. They hold antenatal clinics at both centres and provide visits at patients homes.
