| Educational
rolling half days
City Walls and Saughall
Medical Centres will be closed from 12-4.30pm on the
following dates for educational rolling half days:
December 9th 2010
January 18th 2011
February 9th 2011
March
16th 2011
Further dates for
the year will be added at a later date. The Surgeries
are covered by the local Out of Hours service
during
these
times for medical emergencies.
The practice is participating in the Local Electronic
Healthcare Record system known as Graphnet. This allows
your medical records to be accessed by clinicians during
out of hours and at A&E for your ongoing care and
treatment as a patient. Should you wish to opt out
of
this, please contact the practice in writing or enquire
at reception.
Appointments can be booked online using our EMIS Access
system – please enquire at reception if you
have access to the Internet and wish to be able to
book your
own appointment slots. Please remember to cancel appointments
too if you no longer require one.
Patients can request
their repeat medication on-line - please enquire at
reception about this service.
We have introduced a touch screen in the
reception area, for patients who have a pre-booked
appointment
and who wish to arrive themselves without having to
queue at our busy reception desk.
PLEASE NOTE:
There are only 9 parking spaces available for the use
of patients. Please remove your car from the car park
immediately after your appointment at the practice.
If you experience difficulties with our car parking
facilities when visiting us and find that the car
park
is full, then please use the alternative parking on
the Crowne Plaza multi-storey car park. To access
the multi-storey car park, turn right from City Walls
Medical
Centre onto St Martins dual carriageway and immediately
left after the traffic lights into the car park. A
new multi storey car park is planned directly opposite
our
entrance in the old St Martins building and this should
be completed early next year. |
